Would it possiible to incorporate a field where parts that are partially completed could be referenced that they are in stock?

We are a job shop and sometimes we end up with a couple of pieces that are dropped from production as the need for them declines. Ex. 14 pieces manufactured thru heat treat and the order is for 10, put 3 pieces in stock incomplete and continue with 11.

It would be alot easier for us rather than running to the stock bin whick is close by or running a dual inventory system.

I did not see this somewhere else and apologize if I did.
