Title: Printing Pakcing slips Post by wtsconnects on 03/05/04 at 14:31:32 We genreally release sales orders once a day after shipments going out are confirmed. We have created different packing list formats depending on customer type. It would be useful to be able to print packing lists based on customer code - much like the sorting ability in print invoice SO-F. is this a possible enhancement??? thanks |
Title: Re: Printing Pakcing slips Post by Lynn Pantic on 03/05/04 at 17:24:40 See the thread the past couple of days in the Sales board about printing invoices. The next update (I hope this weekend) will add from/thru Customer Class to SO-B, SO-C and SO-F. Can you use Customer Class to group the customer types for printing the packing slips? |
Title: Re: Printing Pakcing slips Post by wtsconnects on 03/23/04 at 19:03:26 I see the update. Thanks. We have used customer class for other purposes (more marketing related) which don't correspond to the way we would sort or batch print packing slips and acknowledgements. |
Title: Re: Printing Pakcing slips Post by David Waldmann on 03/24/04 at 06:03:03 It may be too much work at this point to convert, but we use the class codes in CM-A to sort customers for marketing purposes. Two huge advantages of the CM-A ones is that you can only enter approved codes, AND you can add descriptors to them so that you don't have to keep a lookup list. And now that CM-A and AR-A are (or can be) synchronized there's no good reason I can think of not to use CM-A. |
