When receiving parts in PO-C and the PO lines are displayed, the lines are cut short. DBA allows 25 characters for the manufacturer part number. But when PO-C displays the lines from the PO only 21 characters are displayed. This is very frustrating for our receiving personnel because sometimes the last few digits in a part number are the most important. They have to then go into IN-A to verify the part number. Or worse, they don't take the time and we receive in the wrong part..... very big problem. >:(

I would like to help them out by getting PO-C to display the whole field. Is DBA using a specific report to display lines in PO-C?

There are 2 issues. The comment lines are 30 characters but part of the problem arises because the first several characters are taken up by "MFG P/N #" or something like that. If you look in PO-A, you will see that it chops off the very last character. PO-C display is worse, it only shows 15 of the actual Mfg P/N characters - let me see if I can do something about that.
