Title: Forecasted cash receipts from sales Post by lmk223a on 05/17/04 at 09:18:58 Is there any way for DBA to produce a report using the date of the sales invoice, the dollar amount of the invoice and the customer payment terms on that invoice to project cash flow receipts? I.E. if the invoice terms are net 30, the invoiced amount would be shown at 30 days; if the invoice terms are payment within 60 days, the cash receipts would be 60 days from the invoice date. This information would be valuable in managing cash flow, both in and out. Would anyone else be interested in such a report? ??? Linda Circom Inc. |
Title: Re: Forecasted cash receipts from sales Post by perrinmfg on 05/17/04 at 09:50:42 This would be great for us too. Another feature that would be nice is if the projections could be based upon the customers average days to pay rather than invoice terms. Many of our customers pay their invoices 5-10 days late and it would be great if that could be calculated in. |

Title: Re: Forecasted cash receipts from sales Post by ndemarco on 05/19/04 at 10:21:30 We would be interested, but more in a Crystal Report than a built-in DBA report. I believe people count cash differently, and a relatively rigid DBA-type report might be more difficult to work with. We are pursuing the same thing now, but under Crystal.
