Title: Workstation Evo problems Post by cathyh on 01/03/05 at 14:48:18 I just installed Evo on the fourth workstation ( many more to go but doing this slowly) and I am getting an error- "A record was not found in Fileloc for file BKSYMSTR.BG-2 . There must be a record for each file opened." Then, Open error-2, BKSYMSTR, M:\DBAMENU_FLEX.rwn, exe path C:\ists\ I am sure I have had this problem on one other workstation but I can't find the answer from Lynn about how to fix it. Could you help me again?! I can see another new year's resolution staring me in the face! :P |

Title: Re: Workstation Evo problems Post by Lynn Pantic on 01/05/05 at 18:27:16 Does it matter which user login ID you use when trying to log in from that workstation? Are you launching the program from the EXE on the server or a local icon? |
Title: Re: Workstation Evo problems Post by cathyh on 01/07/05 at 08:40:19 I am using the local icon to launch. The message comes up right after the license screen, after I hit continue, so I don't get the chance to try to log in. When I try to open evo again on that computer I get the message " You already have an instance of TASPRo6 runtime for this particular path M:\" On a different computer I can open evo and log in with the user name for the malfunctioning workstation, and it works fine. |
Title: Re: Workstation Evo problems Post by Lynn Pantic on 01/10/05 at 11:39:04 On the problem workstation, go to C:\ISTS and run TAS6EVOSETUP.EXE and make sure the path listed on the top banner of the program indicates C:\ISTS. Check the paths and Start in company and fix anything that might be wrong. |
Title: Re: Workstation Evo problems Post by cathyh on 01/10/05 at 14:46:38 Thanks, Lynn. I remembered it being something simple to fix and something that I caused. I forgot to add the B before the startup company code. |
Title: Re: Workstation Evo problems Post by trutax on 03/12/05 at 09:18:17 I rec'd this error just now and am thrilled to have found an answer! I also didn't think of the "B". |
