I notice that the "Notes" in WO-A uses 6 of the 10 available fields in the database. I am desperately trying to find a work around where I can attach part S/N's or other information to W/O's and I am wondering if some how you could provide user defined entry to these fields to make them usable. We could then search these fields with crystal reports to find whatever the user has stored in them.

Actually, we should be able to go one better - the new Service and Repair Module creates a new Notes Table to attach to Work Orders - we need to enable it for regular Work Orders too, then you will have all the room for Notes you need.

We would like to have the ability to add notes to work orders and be able to print them on the shop traveler.

Lynn,

I have installed the 9/25 update. I notice that in converting S/O's to W/O's, the specs copy over and printout on the traveler and some how are in the old notes fields, but do not appear in the notes button screen. Should there be an additional notes button like notes 1 & 2 to get to the different tables? Also I do not see a way to print notes from the new table on the travelers.

I am getting both old and new notes on the Traveler, and no way to get at the old ones.
