Title: E-Mail Sent Report Post by fillpro on 06/06/06 at 08:59:34 I've look through the program and can not find a faxed report. Either would like to have a report in EVO or need our e-mail program to show the sent e-mails. We use MS Outlook for our e-mail program. Seem to have a problem with some vendors not receiving e-mails from EVO but I receive the blind copy. With report I could tell if e-mail actually went through on our end. Thanks, Cathy Walcott FillPro, Inc. |

Title: Re: E-Mail Sent Report Post by ginawendelin on 06/06/06 at 09:57:44 We choose the "BCC self" check box in the upper right corner of the e-mail screen, that way we have a record of what was sent, when and to whom. Would that be useful in your case? :) |
Title: Re: E-Mail Sent Report Post by Lynn Pantic on 06/06/06 at 10:43:11 Cathy, if you get the Blind CC, then any report we could generate is going to confirm that the email was sent so I am not sure how much that would help. |
Title: Re: E-Mail Sent Report Post by Dave Miller on 06/06/06 at 12:51:39 We have this problem as well, we get the blind copy but the recipient does not get a copy, nor is there any kickback advise. This seems to a problem only when the program arbitrarily sends the email with a blue down arrow and "{BULK}" next to it. We have not figured out how this happens or, obviously, how to stop it. We use OUTLOOK as our email program, and are on the most current EVO. Any help would be appreciated. |
Title: Re: E-Mail Sent Report Post by Lynn Pantic on 06/06/06 at 12:57:42 Where do you see the "Bulk"? I have never seen that and I do not think it is something Evo does. I suspect it is your mail server or ISP. |
Title: Re: E-Mail Sent Report Post by Dave Miller on 06/06/06 at 13:00:42 I see it in my outlook in box when I receive my blind copy. The only mail that ever comes in that way is an occasional evo mail. |
Title: Re: E-Mail Sent Report Post by gtladmin on 06/08/06 at 11:20:56 You guys need to get the logs from your mail server (if it's in-house) to see if there are system issues. Sometimes I have to verify a message went out for someone who will get a call from the customer saying they didn't get an e-mail. I can check the logs for the outgoing message and print the details of the date and time it left the system as proof it went out. Once it's on the net, it's out of your own control, and it could be any reason why something didn't reach it's destination, or why you didn't get a return. There are many mail servers that are not set up to run under typical email standards. But at least if you have the logs you can determine whether there was a problem on your end. Val |
Title: Re: E-Mail Sent Report Post by David Waldmann on 06/09/06 at 11:12:28 I use the BCC and never have had a problem delivery-wise. All workstations BCC to me and I set up a mail rule that dumps all Evo emails into a separate folder and marks them "Read". It's completely invisible until I need to verify that something was sent. |
