Title: Print BOM for E-mail
Post by gtladmin on 06/15/06 at 14:39:53

We would LOVE the ablity to print the BOM's so that we can send them via e-mail, just like our POs, SOs, Invoices, etc.

It's on the list already.. Every report in DBA Classic will need to be moved to a RTM format. We will get to it.

NZ:

He'd also actually like a direct export to a Word or Excel format where he can edit the file before sending, something he does now but with alot of work. That's actually his priority, rather than sending it to a PDF format.  Most all of the time he has to edit the BOM file first before sending it out.

Thanks!

Print any RTM in Evo and on the print dialog box, click File to see the available formats.  Excel is already there and in fact you can choose to change the format to be emailed.  PDF is just the default.

Once any report or form is available in RTM,you will have this capability.

In this case, it appears to be hard coded, because we don't get a window when printing a BOM that shows an RTM.  Only List, printer, disk, cancel and it prints to a text file.  Is there a way to change that?

You have to wait until we get the text reports moved to RTM.  But the ones that ARE alreadt RTM do have the various formats available.

Yep, thanks Lynn.  Is there any way we can "push" this one to an RTM?  ($$)?
