Title: WO-M Batch labor entry dies after labor entry Post by N_Clyde_Jenkins on 03/15/07 at 14:49:15 This problem occurs when we try to enter labor from a time card for work orders with numbers higher than 32, e.g. 12297-33. We can populate all the fields on the screen, then when we hit <Enter> the whole WO-M screen disappears. No record is created. We are able to enter labor for this case via WO-F and a correct record gets created. We have not yet installed the 2/14/07 update and subsequent patch. A fix for this would be nice. We are creating more jobs with more than 32 work orders per job. We collect labor manually from time cards in order to capture labor costs. Clyde Jenkins |

Title: Re: WO-M Batch labor entry dies after labor entry Post by Karen Mason on 03/22/07 at 14:23:52 Yes, we had that problem quite a long time ago. Here is part of the conversation: Karen: I tried many work order numbers and find that the tipping point is between -32 and -33. Now I have not tried everything each side of it, but first I tried WO #’s ranging from -10 through -100. -10, -20, -30 worked, -40 and on did not. Then I created WO -31, -32, -33, etc. The dividing point between a work order allowing the sequence to go in or not was -32 allowed labor to be entered. -33 did not allow labor to be entered. Tried this on several Work Order numbers with the same results. Lynn: It is in the latest update – you should have received the email with the link and password. But if you just want to test the DC fix without installing the entire update, save the attached BKDCA.RUN to DBAMFG and unzip BKARSIVL to DBAMFG and DBAMFG\DEFAULT. Lynn Pantic Lynn, I'll send you the file Karen |
Title: Re: WO-M Batch labor entry dies after labor entry Post by cathyh on 09/29/09 at 12:44:08 This is a very old post revisited-- we are having this problem. We rarely have a WO with a suffix this large, but sure enough, we can not enter labor in WO-M with a work order suffix 33 and 34. My BKWOM.RUN has a date of 1/28/02, way earlier than this discussion..... is this still a problem? |
Title: Re: WO-M Batch labor entry dies after labor entry Post by Lynn_Pantic on 09/30/09 at 07:30:22 BKWOM.RUN is just a stub program that calls BKDCG.RUN. Your BKDCG.RUN should have a more recent date - mine is 10/4/2008. That said, I just created a WO 2222-40 and went into DC-M and as soon as I entered the number of parts made, it blew back to the menu. I will send to programming for another look. |
