Title: TOP SALES REPORT Post by dcardenas on 05/08/07 at 08:53:57 HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED RUNNING AN ITEMS REPORT SIMILIAR TO THE TOP SALES REPORT? WE HAVE SEVERAL DIFFERENT MARKETS AND HUNDREDS OF ITEMS. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO COMPARE YEAR TO YEAR DATA ON WHAT WE SELL AS WELL AS WHO WE SELL IT TO. |

Just a note, you should not type in all caps. It looks like shouting. I know, I just did it in my last post but that section really was supposed to be yelling. ;-) |

Title: Re: TOP SALES REPORT Post by Cyndee Pappas on 05/08/07 at 09:59:14 You can use SA-N, User Defined Summary. Sort by Items or by Item Class. |
Title: Re: TOP SALES REPORT Post by dcardenas on 05/08/07 at 10:07:25 I have used this report a lot. What I like about the top sales format is the comparative and variance formats. It's one of those reports that gives a lot of useful information in a glance without having to run multiple reports and do an analysis on a separate spreadsheet. |
Title: Re: TOP SALES REPORT Post by Cyndee Pappas on 05/08/07 at 12:26:09 I'll add a me, too, to this. Being on an old version, I was looking as the TopSales format under SA-N. (I'll be updating soon.) I just peeked at the Top Customers report on my test version. Much more informative. Sorting by product would be great. PS. You might consider adding your version info in your signature. |

Title: Re: TOP SALES REPORT Post by rvallier on 07/26/07 at 13:33:09 Can anyone give me the latest updates on the status of printing the SA-O, Top Sales Report? My JMCRTOPN.RTM file is dated July 26 of 06 and has only two tabs, even though we are demoing the newest 7/14/07 Evo ERP. I have been looking through the forum for info on how to download latest RTM with no success. Please advise, thank you. |
Title: Re: TOP SALES REPORT Post by JNAPIER on 07/26/07 at 15:56:30 Hello, Not to discount the value of this report, but if you have Crystal Reports you can make a much better report with almost no effort. I have Top N reports in Crystal for Products, Dealers, Sales People, State and Country. It is almost the same report with the exception of a field or two and all use the same file set. John |
