I have a customer who prepaid to much and wants to put the remaining towards a future order. I orginally linked the deposit to the 1st sales order. Is there any way to move the remaining deposit to another sales order in Classic?

Once the forst order is processed, the balance of the deposit will be saved "On Account". Once a new order is entered, you can use AR-N and reassign the deposit to the new order.
