Title: DBASO.IN file field question Post by kevind on 01/29/08 at 15:20:36 We use the DBASO.IN file to import batches of orders. We generate DBASO.IN using a Script. I do not see a DBASO.IN field that populates the BKARHINV.INV.SHPATN field. Am I just missing it, or is there no way to populate this field in a Sales Order from the DBASO.IN file? |
Title: Re: DBASO.IN file field question Post by RPCAdmin on 01/31/08 at 05:09:59 Kevin, I assume you have looked at the map of DBASO.IN and DBASO.OUT - If not, I can send it to you. From what I can tell, the field you mention is not there. They do map BAKR.INV.CUSATT to position 224 in SOHEAD, but I don't know if that is the same data as what you are looking for. |
Title: Re: DBASO.IN file field question Post by gtladmin on 01/31/08 at 08:22:43 We map the ship attn: to the bkar.inv.custattn in the header, which works fine when it's used. Val |
Title: Re: DBASO.IN file field question Post by RPCAdmin on 01/31/08 at 08:38:24 If for some reason that is not what Kevin needs, then he is out of luck as far as bringing in data into a field in the database. The only other thing you can do is to use SONOTES to bring in information into the Sales Order notes. |
Title: Re: DBASO.IN file field question Post by kevind on 03/07/08 at 10:54:06 Thanks for all the info. We do currently populate some description fields with email address, phone number, and XXX'ed out Credit Card info. I did not notice the custattn in the header. We will just map it in there, and then in my SQL, I will just use that field if the actual Shipto attention fields is blank. Thanks! |
