It would be good to have the ability to turn off the option of creating a lot number during Scan-Ship.

Scan/Ship doesn't create any Lot Numbers. It is recording the Lot Numbers of the items you are packing (which presumably have already been processed through Finished Production and have Lot numbers assigned if they are Lot Controlled). What would be the point of turning it off? Certainly the person packing the order is going to be in a better position to know the correct lot numbers than somebody in the office posting the invoice later.

I guess I am referring to turning off the ability to ADD lot numbers during the scan/ship program. The only time our shipping department gets the message/option to add a new lot number is when they have accidentally scanned the item number where the lot number is supposed to be scanned. I am trying to avoid shipping adding new lot numbers - they shouldn't be adding any lot numbers.
