Title: Problems Entering Multiple Work Orders
Post by ASIMedicalDS on 06/10/08 at 11:19:53

One of the users in our company that has the most recent version of EVO cannot input multiple work orders without going out of WO-A and reentering to do the next work order. He has also had problems with the customer codes showing correctly, shen puting in work orders for make-to-stock.  However, I have an older version of EVO and have no problem with this

I need more specifics.  What exactly happens that prevents entering of multiple WO?

Instead of it going back to where you enter the next work order you have to reselect enter work order and start as if you were just going in to enter the first work order.

So is it kicking the user out to the menu? Then they have to go back into WO-A to add the next WO#?

Yes, I believe so. He cannot put in more than on work order at a time. I on the other hand can input as many as necessary.

Thanks!

what version of EVO are the two copies? go to the Help About menu.

is he using the T7 version of WO-A or the BK ? you can check his user login menu's using TAS-G and see if he's set up to use T7WOA.RWN or BKWOA.RUN.

you can also see the date of the specific menu when you go into WO-A to edit a WO, what is that date?

also, have him or you go and change company's into the test company ( manufacturing answer) and attempt the same procedure in creating new work orders.

that helps determine if it's data related or program related. the other information is helpful in knowing the date of your programs and what version is being ran.

i've tested WO-A using both the T7 and BK menus, using the past 2 update versions, and it works just fine.

hth,
dave
