Is there a way to attach a customer’s email address to a Acknowledgement, and Packing Slip, in the RTM form?

In Evo, yes, the customer record is open so the field for email can be added to the RTM.  You need to determine which of the 5 available emails you want.

We wanted the email address to show up on the Ack, etc., but also in the header of the order in SO-A, so we went to using the order description line (in BKARINV it is bkar_inv_desc), which is on everything. Mind you, that is not the customer account email (which is more of a billing contact), but is the shipping contact where we email the ack and the shipping notice.

My main goal is to add the email address from the number one slot in the AR, and have it to appear on the packing slip, mainly, so that when shipping, ships a package they load a email address in the UPS system for the customer to receive shipping updates. We are using the classic mode with the evo updates installed. Also im not very RTM smart, and need guidance as to how to insert the email address. Make sense?

Hum, non-Evo RTMs, eh? They are not very user-friendly nor are they flexible.

You may need a custom RTM.
