tried a sample run for year end and I get the following error " the array element specified is out of range for this field." Is anybody else getting this???

Here come the bug reporting police.

It would be helpful to know the following:

Are you using Evo or DBA Classic?

Which version are you using?

How, exactly, are you running the report? Any and all settings would be good to know.

We are using Evo, IS Tech Support Update 3/27/08....build 2/11/08.

AP-S "print 1099's"
enter down to 1099 types, "6"
enter past calendar year "2008"
enter in fed id number
print only if id exists "Y"
print graphical form "Y"

Thanks. That really will help to narrow down what is happening.

One more thing you might try. Log into the test company and try the report. Does it work then? If so then there is something about your normal data which is making the software not work properly.

There are probably more than 500 RTM files in your DBAMFG folder. The popup window for "Graphical Form Name" that pops up with the RTM being called and allows you to change it was originally written with an array size of 500. It has since been increased to 50000 but any program that has not been recompiled since the program library was updated is still limited to 500. You can get rid of unused RTMs but now that this specific program has been identified, we will recompile it to remove the limitation.

We just tried to print 1099's and got the same error - "the array element...."
Did you ever recompile the 1099 rtm?

The fix is in the 12/21/08 update and if you need to print 1099s and aren't ready to apply the update, let me know and I can send you the 1099 program separately.

If you are on the 8/4/08 update, you can download the fix from www.istechsupport.com/dl/1099.zip and unzip to DBAMFG. If you are on anything older, after you download the file you will have to email me to get a license file because you will get a message "You have not renewed your IS Tech Support license..." when running AP-S.

The file at www.istechsupport.com/dl/1099.zip can now be downloaded for any version from 3/08 or later without a special license file.
