After downloading Dec update with Jan patches, updated my BKAPHA1.RTM from the RTM update and when printing checks, the invoice dates appear on the bottom remittance stub (which gets torn off and does not mail with check), but the top stub, which goes with the check to the vendor, does not print dates. The T6 in Evo works fine, but the Classic RTM does not.

Chris, did you download the patch file apinvnumrtm.zip and unzip to your Evo directory? We had an issue this morning with the reference field not printing the correct data. The RTMs were not in the update file I downloaded on 1/7, so I just pulled the ap zip file down and extracted that updated RTM. AP did a test print and it corrected our issue. Will probably correct yours.

I didn't realize that the updated RTM's were not in the updated file, so when I originally tried to print checks, the old RTM only printed the cross-reference data used to point to the new table with the new long invoice numbers. After downloading the new RTM's, the invoice numbers were pulling correctly, just no dates on the top of the stub. As I said, the invoice dates print correctly on the bottom stub, just blank on the top stub. The T6 RTM for Evo works fine. Thanks for the advice, though.

There is an issue with the BKAPHA1.RTM not printing the dates. I have a fix if anybody needs it.

We are in kind of a Catch-22 here because if we include the RTM in the update and users have modified the RTM to include Logos or moved fields around to align with checks, we wipe out the modifications but if we don't then it imposes an extra step inthe update process to either download the RTM file or copy the RTX from the RTX subfolder to the corresponding RTM.

Yep, that is a catch-22. I was not complaining, I'm happy to not get automatic replacements of the RTMs, I'd rather do them myself. I just didn't realize there were updates, but it was not a big issue to me and it wasn't a show stopper or anything. It was problem for maybe 15 minutes.
