Title: infrequent SO-A problem Post by MC-Eng on 01/27/09 at 07:51:58 We have 3 evo users. They are using DBA and EVO both. Only 1 user has this problem from time to time: Launch EVO, enter SO-A, error message "Addsum Premier 7i, system error, Code:1400, Invalid window handle", close EVO, can't re-launch unless a reboot of computer has been performed. SBS2008-64 bit, P10, latest update What does this error code mean? |
Title: Re: infrequent SO-A problem Post by GasGiant on 01/27/09 at 08:06:02 What is the OS on the client? Anything different about it, running different anti-virus, firewall, etc.? |
Title: Re: infrequent SO-A problem Post by MC-Eng on 01/27/09 at 08:13:14 Client computer running XP Pro. We haven't made any firewall changes since installing SBS 2 weeks ago. The error just started 2 days ago. I'll dig deeper into firewall settings which are managed by the server. |
Title: Re: infrequent SO-A problem Post by Lynn_Pantic on 01/27/09 at 08:46:39 The Error 1400 relates to Windows and video settings. Anything different about the video card or drivers on this machine? You could clear the Evo Windows registry video settings by using UT-A, program T7RESETDFM in Evo and see if that helps. |
Title: Re: infrequent SO-A problem Post by dashdown on 02/04/09 at 13:59:31 I have the same problem, but it doesn't matter which machine this user logs on to he will still get this error from time to time.. Any information on this would be helpful. |
Title: Re: infrequent SO-A problem Post by MC-Eng on 03/23/09 at 16:20:58 Just found out something on this issue. See this post. Posted by: dashdown Posted on: 02/04/09 at 15:59:31 I have the same problem, but it doesn't matter which machine this user logs on to he will still get this error from time to time.. Any information on this would be helpful. This problem seems to be tied to the user (as the previous post says and I never caught), not the particular hardware. I got so tired of the error 1400 that I planned to install a new Nvidia graphics card on the affected computer. When the user moved to my computer while I was starting the hardware install ( a computer which has never given an error 1400), she logged in to EVO using her login on my machine and she got the "1400" error again. She logged out and I restarted/logged back in with my user ID on my machine and everything's fine. Are there any video settings in EVO that are user specific? Error 1400 stops EVO from running and requires a computer restart. The affected machine is XP Pro, 2 GB ram, speedy processor. It runs DBA flawlessly, but hangs alot with EVO. Any ideas? |
