When you find a cost column in a transaction look up don't you expect it to be actual cost? Why is the T7INA lookup showing the standard cost field from INVTXN instead of the average/actual cost for that transaction?

I also have expeierneced this problem. In DBA we use the transaction page frequently to quickly determine the last actual cost of the jobs we have built. In evo the transaction page doesnt have this information. This is probalby the main reason we haven't converted our other 12 seats to evo yet.

Also in a somewhat related issue, on the IN-A screen for PO receipts it also doesn't list last cost for each po receipt. That information is helpful for us when quickly looking at costs of components.

I suppose these things can be modified with grids, buy I would expect the default grids to at least grab from the same fields as the DBA lookups.

Are you talking about the IN-A transactions tab? If you are, I don't see this. For A/F types I see Actual Cost for work order receipts and Average cost for shipments. In the case of purchased parts I see last cost for purchases and average cost for issues, adjustments, etc.
Maybe it has something to do with the latest update- I am not there yet.

the original grid had this problem but it has been fixed. If you have not modified the grids, you can use Queries, SU-D and choose Overwrite to replace all the grids with our newest standard ones.
