How would I go about adding the serial number to the shipping label detail?

Unfortunately, the sales table does not keep track of the serial numbers.

If you select "D" on "Print Header or Detail labels", the report will print the sales order Lines.
But there is not serial information.

This info comes from the serial table. And I dont see it anywhere on the report (T6SODD1.RTM)

Even if you add the MTSER.SERIAL. It does not work.

Ask ISTECH, maybe there is a way.

The info is in the INVTXN table once invoiced, but it is only linked to the released SO in the BKARTXN (lot) or BKARTXNS (serial) before then :-(

I did try the serial file field myself, confirm it did not work.
Is this shipping label linked to the released for shipment process? If so, can't I access the serial number that prints on the packing list?

This is often my problem with trying to add fields to a form--what tables are available?? That information doesn't seem to be available and the hit and miss technique is very frustrating.

In this form, it appears that all of the fields are custom (behind the scenes) and none of them come from a table that I can access. Allen, could you let me know if there are any tables that I can use with these forms -- T6SODD and T6SODH?

if you add the BKAR.TXN.SERIAL

does not work either. I just copy it from the T6SOC3.RTM

I am looking at the BKARTXNS table and this has the information I am looking for. Is this table available to pull from for the label rtm?
By the way I have some very old records in there that have been invoiced but must have had a problem with clearing out of this file- all dated 2002. Would there be any harm in deleting these records? I can see valid ones as well (released but not invoiced yet).

you can kill the 2002 records... I look and see what I can do to add that link in the code so you can use this files data.
