DBA Classic vers. 2004.1

since our last upgrade we had repeatedly received this error 'invalid inventory location"
when releasing a sales order in SO-E, items that have been in our inventory and are used EVERY DAY.. basic parts like screws and stuff,.. are suddenly getting this error!?

nothing had been changed with any of these parts that are getting this error and we do not utilize any inventory location features in DBA.

What we do to correct this error, is we Back out of releasing the sales order and in SO-A we view sales order and hit "enter, enter, enter, enter, enter, enter, enter, enter, enter, enter,... etc." Through each and every item on that sales order... THEN we can go back and invoice and we dont get the error.

i dont know why that error would clear after entering thru each line item on the sales order,.. no changes are being made to the sales order...!?????

"Last upgrade" - are you referring to the DBA 2004.1 or an IS Tech update? You need to indicate the specific update version. If you have the IS Tech Updates installed, it is recommended that you use UT-K-E and change your inventory Location from blank to a named Location to eliminate the possibility of Binary Zeroes.
