The latest SM-J-C from Lynn is still creating blank locations if I run a type B transactional reconciliation. It is only for the same problem items which all have J type transactions, most of them are monthly consolidated also. One has only one J type (PO receipt to WO) fairly recently. This is for just a handful of items but causes problems when we run month end reconciliation as it produces a new blank location with the description "not in BKICLOC", and the reports do not print correctly. For instance, the value report did not have a total per class in the calculated book value until I picked "all" locations.
And we had trouble with the PI report. After I merged the locations and was left with one "STOCK" location all reports printed correctly but now SM-J-C wants to create the blank one again.

I copied my company to my stand alone copy of Evo and ran the Sept 16 update. The blank location is still being created on that copy also, so the update does not solve this.

Cathy,

Have you loaded the SP2 patch? It is supposed to address the location issue.

I just deleted a record in INVTXN for one of the items that just had one J type monthly consolidation (in 2002) transaction for qty 1. I then ran reconciliation and nothing came up. The UOH did not change either. Then I added the transaction back in INVTXN, making sure all fields were the same (some of the fields would not accept upper/lower case as they were in the original record). I ran SM-J-C again and it wants to create a blank BKICLOC location record again for the item.
