Title: Window behavior
Post by RPCAdmin on 10/26/09 at 10:51:04

Since installing SP3 this morning, a few of my users have had this old problem crop up again (Windows/window behavior).....it is not consistent, and doesn't happen to everyone.  Bring up any screen, hit the exit key, that screen disappears, but another window (e-mail, excel, .....) pops up over EVO.

OK - now this is being elevated.  My shipper cannot print bar code labels.  She goes into IN-G, enters everything, changes to the special RTM we have to print out on our Datamax printer and when she hits enter, the screen disappears and she is back to the main menu.

I think that IN-G has been damaged.  Even if I used the default RTM, when I hit enter after it comes up, IN-G goes away.

I my stand alone install of SP3, I can print bar code labels for one item, many items, items of a type, but if I choose to sort by class code, I get the behavior you are describing.....

It happens with IN-A as well.  It appears that closing the window in EVO is acting like a task switch (ALt-TAB).

Seems a BETA MENU got out in the SP3. one I was testing to fix the screens that fall behind the menu. It was still in testing stage. I will send Lynn a new one to correct this.

Download the fix from www.istechsupport.com/dl/evomenu1.zip and unzip to DBAMFG.  No need to get users out but you will need to log out of Evo and back in to get the updated menu loaded.

Note - the IN-G problem is a different issue with printing labels by Item Class and wil be addressed separately.

Understood.  Hopefully, it will not be too difficult a fix.
