Title: Scrap Transaction on WO Creates 0 Qty Transaction Post by gtladmin on 11/02/09 at 09:13:59 Walter has tried this on two different parts and is able to reproduce this issue, which he originally reported on Oct. 7th. He can definitely reproduce the error, so we are wondering what may be the cause. Is there anything specific I can double check on in the system? Here are two tests done in our test company (part #s partially hidden in the text) 1st test part PLS257xxxxx checked IN-A for on hand inv for PLS257xxxxx, was 139 looked at transactions, the last trans was 7 to this WO. then ran IN-E print inventory transactions, Transaction history showed unit on hand 139 last trans. was 7 to this WO. went into MFG WO-G, openned a WO 706791-1 upper level XP73NBUVBIO/xxx issued to scrap 1 PLS257xxxxx then ran IN-A again: the on hand went to 138 opened Trans button and it showed 0 qty issued. then ran IN-E again, Inventory transactions show 139 with a 0 transaction. So on hand and Inventory trans are now off by 1. 2nd test part NPL250xxxxx checked IN-A for on hand inv for NPL250xxxxx, was 62 looked at transactions, the last trans was -76 to Phy Inventory. then ran IN-E print inventory transactions, Transaction history showed unit on hand 62 last trans. was -76. went into MFG WO-G, openned a WO 706760-1 upper level IL14xxx/x issued to scrap 1 NPL250xxxxx then ran IN-A again: the on hand went to 61 opened Trans button and it showed 0 qty issued. then ran IN-E again, Inventory transactions show 62 with a 0 transaction. So on hand and Inventory trans are now off by 1. Thanks, Val |
