Title: IIN-J Report puts all Cycle Codes to C
Post by gtladmin on 11/04/09 at 10:28:49

I have reproduced what Walter reported to me in our test companies:

Go into IN-J (Print Physical Count)
Print From/Thru Item number :  entire range is selected
From/Thru category (blank)
From/Thru class (blank)
From/Thru Cycle Code:  A
From/Thru bin location (blank)
Print All Locations=N (selected just default)
Consolidate Locations=N
Sort by:  I (item)
Active Status Filter=YNOED
Include Extended Prod Descript:
Include items with Zero UOH= Y

Print to List, viewed on screen.

The Cycle Code in the report changes all the items to cycle code C, regardless of whether you run the report for A, B, or C codes.

Walter uses this report for Cycle Counting, so it needs to be correct!

Thanks,

Val

Are you saying that regardless of the Cycle Code filter entered on the screen you get the report for the "C" parts only?

What Walter is saying is that he's getting the parts he specified, but the cycle code reported in the report is incorrect.
The request is for the range of parts where the Cycle code is A. The parts are printed, but in the report they show as
code C, but in the system they are coded as A.  The report is incorrect for some reason.

OK, thanks, that is what I needed to know to pass it to programming to fix.

Lynn sent to me an updated BKINJ.RUN file and we applied it and that did seem to fix the issue Walter was seeing.

Thanks very much Lynn and all!
