Title: IN-H
Post by Vman on 11/04/09 at 10:52:45

When I tried to run IN-H yesterday, keeping all the defaults, the program will give me the print form screen and then after grinding away for a while, the program just exits (window closes).  This morning I tried it again in my real company and it got me to the print screen.  I then went to a test company and it exited again.  I then went back to the real company and it also exited.  Trying it with various filters for active status or item type yields mixed results.

I just tried a couple of times in both our real and test companies, and I didn't have any issues. The report came up on screen for me every time.  Maybe it's your RTM?  What's the RTM you are using?  I did it with all the defaults, both a range as well as the entire inventory list.

It's T6INH1.RTM.  I just ran it again, and it only prints the first page...

Copied the backup *.RTX file in and renamed it to *.RTM.  Still terminates the program.  Methinks my data may be corrupted somewhere.

Well, to test that maybe you can try a specific range in the inventory and see if that works.  If it does, do the next range, etc. until it boinks. Then you can at least narrow it down to a specific part. or range of parts..maybe that might help?  I didn't print mine beyond the first 5 pages (the entire report is 101 pages).  But it printed no problem.

Tried that- first it narrowed it down to a R part that was active.  Then it was an R part between A and Z active. Then it was R part between K and R that was active.  Individual letters in that range worked.  Then I ran A through Z again, and it worked.  Then I ran all R parts that are active and it worked.
Can't seem to get a consistent error.

Gave up and created a lookup grid.
