DBA says that you can manually change the creation date on the sales order, but it won't let us. Can anyone help?

Are you talking about changing the default date when entering a new order or editing the date on an existing order? You can do both but to edit an existing order, you need to use the Up Arrow on the keyboard to get to the Order date field to change it.
