Title: record not found in FILELOC Post by CRBlount on 01/15/10 at 10:59:58 I just installed the 9/16/09 SP5 update yesterday, and the payroll update. I was putting off installing the 9/16 update because I always run into issues. Everything seemed to go ok with the install but now when I go to AP-A, a warning error pops up saying "A record was not found in FILELOC for file -ISAPAVND.B10-4", I hit ok and it goes away and I can go into the module. This also happens when I go to release a sales order, I get to the shipper# field a warning message pops up "A record was not found FILELOC for file -ISARAHIN.B10-4" I hit ok and then a Tp5wdba message pops up "An error message record was not found in the ERRMSG.B file. 405" I hit ok to that message and it keeps going back and forth between the nessages which causes me to to exit out the program and restart my computer. Please help! I have to invoice customers and cannot since the update. |

Title: Re: record not found in FILELOC Post by CRBlount on 01/15/10 at 12:00:30 Just rebuilt the FILELOC.B file again in the Pervasive Rebuild Utility and an error occurs, In the error log it says "The MicroKernel Database Engine status code was 88". Not sure what this means but would really appreciate help with this our system is practically down right now. :-[ |
Title: Re: record not found in FILELOC Post by CRBlount on 01/15/10 at 13:51:33 I tried running DBAIF in UT-A and it does not have either of the files ISAPAVND OR ISARAHIN? I really do not understand why every update I run ends up taking me a month to get my system back up and running....PLEASE PLEASE HELP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! |
Title: Re: record not found in FILELOC Post by Lynn_Pantic on 01/15/10 at 19:25:20 You can't rebuild files when other users have them open (which is what the 88 error implies) but rebuild is not going to correct the problem if the record was never created by the update process. It sounds to me like there is some fundamental corruption in your data dictionary which is in turn causing updates to not process properly. I will email you off the forum to make arrangements to log into your system and see what is really the issue. |
