Title: Digital Signature on POs Post by JAM1967 on 02/04/10 at 18:29:46 Trying to use the new Digital Signature Approval process for POs in Evo. Here's what I am doing. 1. SM-PS-I enter and save Digital Signature 2. SD-Q-PO Tab - Enter Digital Signature (Y/N/A) - set to Y and save. 3. Create and save PO 4. Try to PO-T - Electronically Approve PO. Get following error message "Incorrect password, please reenter password. Attempts remaining 3" Is anyone experiencing same issue or have I missed something? ALSO 5. Looked at Settings - US-E - Update PO Electronic Signature Info. When I entered the Employee which I had entered in #2 and tried to enter the passsword, I got error message "Incorrect password, please reenter password. Attempts remaining 3". Also not too sure of purpose of this feature since you can "Reset" the information in SM-PS-I. Would appreciate any help. Thanks. |

Title: Re: Digital Signature on POs Post by Lynn_Pantic on 04/22/10 at 19:51:50 There was a problem relating to upper/lower case characters in the password that was corrected in 1/22/10 SP2. Also, to get the correct printing, you need to get the latest RTM which would be done by copying the T6 or ENPOB*.RTX from the DBAMFG\RTX subfolder to the root DBAMFG and renaming to RTM extension. If you have already made changes to your PO RTM, open the T6POB4.RTX with the editor and copy the signature region to your RTM |

How do you recommend we use this feature with 4 different users? I thought about storing their signature.jpg file in their own userfile on the server or on their computer, so if someone else pulls up the wrong PO, not theirs, the signature file doesn't drop in. Or is that unecessary because of the password feature? Please advise. We are curently on Update 1/18/11 |
Title: Re: Digital Signature on POs Post by Lynn_Pantic on 11/15/11 at 18:12:54 I would store the signature file on the user local machine so nobody else can access it. |
