Title: Access Violation 00444847 Post by cellis on 01/27/11 at 10:07:23 In DBA 2004.1 w/ IS Tech Support Update 10/11/10 SP1... Anytime I try to print a report to a text file or pdf I get the following error message: 1st messge: "Run Program BKGLF.Run Not Found" (or whichever report I'm running) I click OK and then get this message: "Access Violation TP5WDBA.exe Read Address 0000014C" I click OK and then I can't print anything at all. I close DBA and log back in and everything is back to normal. It only happens when we try to print to disk (txt) or pdf instead of list or printer. I'm completely clueless on how to fix this. Correction: I print to disk or pdf first, THEN I start getting the error messages on everything I try to print after that. |
Title: Re: Access Violation 00444847 Post by Lynn_Pantic on 01/27/11 at 16:14:12 It is a bug in DBA embedded in the TP5WDBA.EXE that we have no access to so there is nothing that can be done other than upgrade to Evo. In DBA if you browse to the path where you want to save the report, the program gets lost (for lack of a better word) and ytou have to exit and log back in. |

Title: Re: Access Violation 00444847 Post by Nancy_SP on 02/10/11 at 13:04:28 ;) I have a work around to print to text in DBA Classic. example If I want to print a receipt report I choose y at the top for text and when print option comes up ,I click on disk, then search, then choose folder to place file which is the DBA folder on the server and I always start the name with ZN so it goes all the way to the end of the folder ( makes it easy to fine in the middle of all those files). name the file then click open, then the second window will close and click ok on the where print flag. Report runs, then I open excel and import the data.i find my file at the bottom DBA. check fix width then next i move the lines to where I want them and so on. Seems like a lot but when you do it a time or two its easy. Hope this helps, I am no pro at this. :exclamation ::) |
