Title: Emailing Invoices
Post by rdparent on 06/09/11 at 13:18:07

We recently added a second machine and license to our system. When a part is shipped from the second machine, a pdf file is not created anywhere to be able to send it via email. Is there something I need to change in my settings? We are using EVO and installed all patches. It does creat an Acknowledgement and Packing Slip pdf. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

what is the attach path?

does it exist?

C:\ISTS\PDFS\

It exists as the network path-\\ROGER-PC\ISTS\PDFS. The actual form Invoice.pdf never gets created though. For some reason it creates an Acknowledgement when the Sales Order gets entered and a Packing Slip when we ship it but no Invoice. We searched for the form on both machines but have not been able to locate it anywhere.

Weird, the network path could be the problem.
Try to Use: C:\ISTS\PDFS\

:P

If we use the c: path, then the first machine won't be able to email it because it has to have the c: path for invoices created on that machine and then we would be saving forms on two different machines. Might get confusing.

The intent is that each user saves their own forms to the local folder but a network path should also work and there is no reason I can think of that invoices would work any differently than Acknowledgements.  Once you are actually in the print interface adn choose email, it really doesn't care what you are printing.
