Just installed the new update 11-19-11.
On the 2nd screen in SO-E, I enter to the "Shipper Number" box which was at 0. (This seems to be a new feature but nothing was explained about it).
When I enter, I get a FATAL ERROR- File T7SOE.SRC Line: 1773 You have tried to access a file that has not been previously opened, or the file number value (FNUM) passed was 0.
I have to ESC to get out of the screen. I tried it again and entered a number but the same result.
Since I can't release sales orders to print packing slips/invoices, how can we ship anything?

Sounds like a file was not opened that needed to be. Go to UT-A, program T7DDCHECK and see if there are any errors listed on the report.

I have to get orders shipped and I cannot genereate paperwork.

change your menu to call T6SOE.RUN to get the prior version of SO-E or run it at UT-A until we determine what the issue is.

FYI, we did determine the problem and have a fix. It is only an issue if you have the default set to match invoice and pack slip number which pulls the invoice and shipper numbers in SO-E.

Does anyone know if this has been fixed? I can release the sales order through ut-a but can't print the packing slips or invoices.

Those won't work in Evo. Use T6SOE.RUN to release, then the menu SO-C & SO-F will work

SO-C & SO-E still not working that way. Getting error message Access violation at address 00A0CAD6 in module 'evoerp.exe'. Read of address 00000324.

Turned off matching packing slip & invoice #. Seems to work that way. Need to be able to turn that back on though soon. Also, don't like new format on release sales order.

Try going to Sys Mgr-UT-A and typing in T6SOC.RUN and see if the packing slip program loads. If so, you can go to Sys Mgr-TAS-G and edit the progile of those printing packing slips to call out T6SOC.RUN instead of T7SOC.RWN for now, until the problem is resolved.

So far I found out that if I put in the Packing Slip # manually then I'm OK as long as it's not a duplicate. I'll try this also. Thank You!
