There may be a simple answer that I have missed finding, but.... As I enter a new sales order, and get to the attention lines for names or phone numbers, I sometimes get a contact manager popup telling me it's not found, and asking what I want to do. Many times, these are one-offs, it goes attention Bob one day and Betty another, etc. How do I suppress this popup?

SD-Q > Sales > Sales Orders > Processing > "SO-A: Disable Contact Validation" = Y

I believe that was adding those weird records on the contact manager.

Yes, I believe it HAD been, but James at Burr King had figured that out and IST fixed it a few months ago so that even if you did use the contact it wouldn't add a duplicate (or in some cases, bogus) record.
