WO PROFITABILITY REPORT

I would find a concise report giving the profitability on work orders that are closed within a date range of great value.

JC-A has most of the information-but it is too much.  If each job took one line, we could review by exception and run details on those jobs that fall above or below a certain profit %.  We could tell at a glance what the jobs are running.  (We make sure we put the price in the work order)

The profit reports in the SA & IN aren't really the best, since they don't use the actual costs.

It would also be helpful to have the scrap % calculated in JC-A once a job is closed.

Thanks for consideration.

Karen,
Did you ever find a report in regard to your request?
I have been placed on the same mission.

Smiley We, too, would be interested in such a report.

Possibly, expanding the current "Closed Work Orders Costing" Report (IN-N-C), to show dollars profit (actual costs to sales revenue) rather than dollars variance (actual costs to standard).

Lynn,

We have a JC-A that has been revised to do what at least one person has requested.  It need some "tweeking", but it works.  Your welcome to see if it would be something to start with.

This was a very important issue for use when we first started using DBA.
