Inventory status - active/inactive
09/17/03 at 14:00:25

Any progress on the inventory status enhancement? I had also inquired about a "review" status which might only warn a user that a particular item or raw material is under review - maybe user defined message when this status is picked to alert the user - as well the "inactive" status that locks the item from being used in anything other than reporting.

Thanks

Keith

I like the idea of locking out the inactive items from being used on work orders and purchase orders etc.

Several of the past ERP systems I've used come with this feature.  It is good for preventing errors.

Lynn,

Any chance this one might make it onto the update following tomorrow's update?

Will see what I can do.  May be phased in over several updates, there are potentially a lot of programs involved - first IN-B to set the Status to something other than Y or N and then other programs to know what to do with it.
