Update contact manager accounts (Read 509 times)

Posts: 80	Update contact manager accounts 10/14/03 at 06:14:19 Does anyone know if there is a way to update the contact manager accounts with data from the customer file without deleting the accounts and adding them back in? The CM-A files never seem to get updated with address or phone number changes, but I would hate to lose the history on each account. Thanks, Sean Leybold Optics

I would suggest export the pertinent data from teh BKARCUST (Customer) file and use CMIMPORT at UT-A to import to the CM file. Answer R to replace existing customers and the CM data will be updated.

Once the files are synchronized, the latest IS Tech Support update has an D|SD-Q setting to coordinate CM and AR edits so future changes will update both files.
