3/12/04 update due date
03/19/04 at 10:05:35

Lynn,
Tthe new due date field is great! If you can get it to carry over to the duedate field in the work order, this would save us from having to manually edit the dates on the work order all together.

Thanks,

Steve

So you want SO-N to save the Est Ship Date as the Scheduled Finish Date and the Customer Due Date as the Due Date?   Makes sense to me.   Have also thought about having the scheduling programs go back and change the SO Est Ship Date when the WO Scheduled FInish Date changes.

That sounds good.  Would it carry over to the Work Orders also?  If the Due Date(customers want date-or in your words Lynn, DREAM date) would show up on the various scheduling and WO reports, that would be extremely helpful

Is the due date a single due date for the whole sales order or is there a separate customer due date for each line?

Most of our multi-line sales orders have different customer due dates for each line.  During the order entry process, when duplicating lines, the system will prompt for the estimated ship date but not the customer due date.  We go back into each line item and change the customer due date once we finish entering the order.

It would be helpful to have the system prompt for customer due date on duplicated lines.

Due date is per line and now (this weekend's post) SO-N will prompt whether to use the Est Ship Date or Customer Due date as the WO Due Date.  Maybe can have SO-A do the duplicate line prompt by next post.

The customer due-date pass thru to W0-A is great. Is there a way to set a default in SO-N to C. When I save settings in SO-N it always reverts to E

I just checked again and the 3/26 version of SO-N saves the setting for C versus E.

Lynn,

I must be doing something wrong. I am using 3/26/04 update and I cannot get the question to default to "C".
Any idea?
