Sometimes we have specs for an Item that are no use or would confuse the person in the shop who is looking at the BOM.
 
It would be nice to have seperate vendor or manufacturer specs for an item that doesn't show on the BOM, but will show up on a PO.

I agree... we have many items with specs that make perfect sense when placed on a purchase order, but if they are not suppressed for the Sales Order, the customer has no idea what they are.
 
Perhaps a toggle for the specs screen that would allow them to print on either the Sales Order, Purchase Order, BOM, (or all three??).

Sounds like a great Idea, We have so many parts with  
different specs and to have   Wink an area to put it all but
hide from the customer shop floor employees would be great.

The specs are used for so many things by so many people!
 
We wish we could flag the specs (by P/N or even by P/N and spec line) to pop up whenever entering a sales order or perhaps when entering a PO.
 
We could then use the specs to flag us when something else must take place when buying/selling an item.
 
What great ideas!
