Most likely DBA has been shut down incorrectly at some point so that Pervasive thinks there are more users than there really are. I have found that generally you can open the Pervasive Monitor, Click on MicroKernel, Active Users and you will see multiple users with the same name. When you click on the user name it will show the files open by that user. If you are working on something, the "real" one will have several open and the duplicate one will have none, or just users.b. Highlight the duplicate one and click "Delete User". This has to be done from the server, or logged into the server from a workstation.
