BOM Import - add remarks

It would be wonderful if the BOM import function included bom remarks. We import boms from spereadsheets but then have to manually enter all of the remarks.

Sharon,
Since the remarks just go in one field in one data file, why don't you use Access and ODBC to shove them in?

I had a feeling you were going to say that. Now I just have to figure out how. I know there is a white paper out there covering ODBC and DBA. Before I muck through that I would really appreciate any advice you may have

It is actually pretty easy. If you want to contact me directly I can walk you through setting up over the phone in 10-15 minutes. If you call please make sure you have admin login to the server and yoour local workstation as well.

Thanks! I will take you up on this! We are in the middle of moving to a new building so it may be a couple of weeks though. Plus, I will read through the white paper before I call.
Thanks again.
