I would like to have another option added to printing work order travelers:  Print without routing notes and specifications.

Karen,

What do you mean by routing notes?  Not printing any of the Routing section on the report?

Within a routing, at each sequence level, you can add both notes & specifications.  We are going to be moving our work instructions from Excel to DBA routings.  They tell the shop floor all of the details needed to run that operation.  They print out on the traveler.

We also use the traveler in the office for a couple of different areas.  I do not want to print out all of the notes & specifications because they are not needed and can add significant number of pages to the traveler.  I need the basic info that is in the routing (info that is on the first screen when setting up a routing).

However, I've been thinking (dangerous), all I really need to do is create a new traveler by editing an existing one in modify forms.  Now I just need to figure out which of the subreports I need to delete.

Deleting any subreports will cause the program to crash since the number of subreports will no longer match the program's RTM setup buffers.

Can't you just make certain sub-reports not visible instead of deleting them?  I do this alot with fields within a subreport  to eliminate things people don't want to see and I don't want to delete.

I'll have to try making them invisible.  I know that when some fields are made invisible, the report still spaces down.

I'll work on it once I get all these stinking taxes and year end stuff done.

I'm not seeing that in my EVO.  Is it coming out in a new update?
Thanks
