There is NOTHING in my experience that would pull a date different than the system date for one functional component of a client server software system. Then again, I have seen all kinds of things that are downright WEIRD happen in my years in this business. What is really neat is Lynn has seen even more!
Oh and Laura, if it is the CMOS battery causing a problem, Windozzzze will give you a warning at startup and you would need to press a function key (I think it is F1) to continue starting with a faulty CMOS battery.
Anyway, Tim, why use a separate program when you can synchronize the server with any of the major time servers out there and then use the /nettime command to keep workstations synched?
