Help Program Error
04/08/05 at 09:13:23

Windows error message, "This program has performed an illegal..." pops up when trying to use EVO Help from work stations, but works okay from host machine.

Have I loused up the work station install in some way?

Delete the DBAHELP.GID and any other DBAHELP file from the DBAMFG folder EXCEPT do not delete DBAHELP.HLP and DBAHELP.CNT and then try to load it again.

Thank you, Lynn.
Removed DBAHELP.B, dbahelp.FTS, & DBAhelp.GID.  This made Help on host machine work properly.  It did the sort or whatever it does when you click the binocular button.

Still will not work on remote machines.  There is a file named DBAHLPID.B still left.  Should I axe that one too?

No, you need that one.  Clear the FTS and GID again and launch from a remote station first.

Lynn,
Deleted both FTS and GID again and launched from remote work station.  Still the same program error problem.

What next?
