E-mail Problems in EVO
04/11/05 at 11:15:49

As of today Evo will not attach the PO, SO, Invoice to an e-mail on three of my machines.  The path it is looking for has changed on these machines from a local folder to a network folder.  I have tried creating the new path on the network and redirecting the path in TAS-k but it will not save any changes.  Where can I get the instructions for setting up e-mail so that I may fix this problem and why won't it save any changes in TAS-K?

Some further information.  I have now discovered that if I open TAS-K on any machine the settings are changed and that machine will no longer be able to e-mail an attachment.  I am still unable to change any of the settings in TAS-k.

Delete the NZEMAIL.CFG file in the C:\ISTS folder on the workstation and try TAS - K again.

Thank you, it works now.  Except I have one PC that the e-mail information has been changed in the program but for some reason it is pulling my e-mail information and saying e-mailed attachments are fro me when in fact they are from shipping.

Also check the email Tab in TAS - C for that station.

In TAS-C click Set Dev Path and make sure it is pointing to C:\ISTS

I tried doing all of the things above that go you working.  Yet it still isn't working for me.

The email connection seems fine, because I get the email to go through, but I can't get the attachment to go.  Instead of sticking it on my local c:\ists drive it's sticking it in my server drive that houses dba R:\ and it puts it at the root of that directory.

example file name is "O From High Leah Electronics, Inc.P16067.PDF" isn't it suppose to just be p16067.pdf?

What are my default directory and my data dictionary suppose to point to?  It's pointing to R:/
Is that right, or should it point to c:\ists?

That long file name gives me something to go on - you are right, it should just be P12345.PDF.  I will confer with the programmer tomorrow and get back to you.
