Hello, I'm a consultant looking for a business/process tracking software system for a small mixed-mode manufacturing company with little MRP needs, but inventory, purchasing, routing, quoting, shipping/receiving, resource scheduling, QC needs. What is the general opinion of DBA Classis or Evo, including the product, support, database and administration? I'm trying to decide if the extra work will be worth it, instead of paying more for a company that will do more to help implement it, and will work with less hitches.
We have 40 employees and will have 5-10 users, we currently do inventory monthly (indicating a need, but a small need), are considered manufacturing but what we do is more like a service (we coat glass/substrate, so we manufacture the coating- which is made of such little material it is infinitesmall, and the customer usually supplies the substrate- but not always- and our service is the actual coating of the glass).
