Automation Tools

Hi All!

I've been checking out the forum and it seems you all are great at supporting each other, so here goes...

Anyone out there have a method for "forcing" users to logout?  I'd like to ensure that we get a clean backup at night and my users don't take to training very well.  You can preach all you want, but so far the only sure thing is to tour the plant each evening and log them out!

Second, how about a method of automating keystrokes in DBA??  I'm rolling out Data Collection to the shop floor and I'd like the machine to boot straight to the "Enter Employee ID" field when it gets turned on and logged in.  I can get to the DBA login and they're capable of entering the user and password, but from there i'd like it automatic.  This would also help with automating maintenance and reporting overnight.

Years ago I worked with a key logging software package, back in the days of DOS, but does anyone know of anything like that for Windows??

Thanks in advance!
