All documents that the customer/vendor will see are end-user customizable so that you can change the description to you want. We currently use SO/PO Notes to add shipping notes that won't fit in the standard field. Customers/vendors that always have non-standard instructions have them entered in their AR/AP notes, and they get pulled in as the SO/PO is entered.
