IN-A NEW BUTTON (Read 750 times)

However, if write access is allowed from IN-A it should have a feature to disable it, as people may need to find out information but should not be able to change it in many instances.

Posts: 678 Gender:	Re: IN-A NEW BUTTON Reply #4 - 12/20/05 at 16:02:35 The problem using INB is you cant see all the good info that you can in INA like usage transactions ect so when Im adjusting item info I have to switch between in-a in-b boms and routings. an all in 1 master screen with direct editing would do it. Could the IN-A features be added to IN-B? What about BOM editing?

I picture it as an edit button on the keyboard not the screen
but it works on every screen.

When we have drill down we will be able to drill down to the source of a problem or info needed effortlessly moving from one module into another

whatever your looking at you can press the edit button and your there

invisible to all but a select few

that's my DBA dream no dead end screens

its late time to go home

BUT editing will be at your own risk.. if you edit a qty on a SO it will not go and recalc the total ext of the line or the total $ for the order.. but the editing can be done in drill down mode and we can limit it to security levels..

It will be more akin to Maintain Database. And only to those who are given access to it. New Security Level stuff.
