Printing labels  for PO-C(possible future PLE

We have a small problem with our supplier.  They have serialized parts that we track in DBA.  We have to track which machine gets what serial number for warantee purposes.  (We finally got our receiving person to enter real serail numbers instead of IDONTNO1, IDONTNO2, ...) Now the problem is the Vendor doesn't etch the SN in deep enough so after being moved around the shop, they can't be read.

I would like a way to print the serial number on the label we print so the guys on the floor can read it.  I can do it through my Crystal label printer but the receiver has to pick each SN for each label when he just entered them for the receiver.  It would be nice to have it automatically pulled in from the receiver. (I know Allen, it's a major rewrite to do anything with SNs just thought I would bring in another reason for the rewrite. Grin)

As Promised in Phonix,  I'll post my label program for receivers when I get the bugs out.

Just and idea,

Tim
