Inventory value report (Read 535 times)

tcook Member Posts: 71 Gender:	Inventory value report 07/19/06 at 10:46:42 It would benefit us greatly to be able to sort the Inventory value report (IN-F) by dollar amount, ex. highest inventory value to lowest.

lmk223a Senior Member Accountant Posts: 379	Re: Inventory value report Reply #1 - 07/20/06 at 04:45:24 You can import this report into an Excel spreadsheet and sort by dollar amount. Just save to disk and give it a file name, then convert it from a text file to an Excel file.

It would also be nice to sort finished goods by customer. Currently, I export to Excel and enter customer names then sort and subtotal by customer.

This is a great management tool for our president - it shows where the cash is invested, and which customer is not taking their inventory - so Sales can contact customer to expedite shipping.
